Welcome to my world of Fun, Fur, Color & Fantasy!

Life in its most vivid form.  Bursting with brightness, color and imagination.  Most of my subject matter is things we hold dear to our hearts - people, flowers, animals, but definitely with a twist!  The combination of detail, somewhat eccentric characters and extremely bright, bold color makes my artwork “jump-out” at you and refuse to go un-noticed!  I like to paint with raw color straight from the tube in the brightest colors I can lay my hands on, - I feel the combination of the contrast of extreme opposite colors give a dynamic effect.  My work is somewhat loud - I intend it to be that way, I sometimes describe it as “artwork that won’t match your sofa”!

The artist studied Graphic Design at Wigan Technical college in Northern England.  As a painter she is self- taught.  After finishing college she moved to Rome , Italy where she painted for five years, she found the surroundings very conducive to bettering herself as an artist.  In  1986 she moved to the United States and worked for The Rank Organization in Pennsylvania as a graphic designer, she was with the company for five years then moved on to work as an art director for a regional magazine.  In 1992 she moved to Orlando, Florida.  She has been working out of Cafe Tu Tu Tango’s on International Drive since 1996 selling her artwork, she enjoys the interaction with the public and painting in front of a live audience.  Louise also works as an art teacher at The Osceola Center For The Arts, she teaches the Adult Drawing class and the Children’s Art Class every Wednesday, she finds it very rewarding to inspire her students, since 1996 she has motivated hundreds of students to discover their creative talents, and many have moved on to be award winning artists themselves. Louise also teaches weekend workshops in acrylics at her studio. She does a lot of commissioned works, and considers it a challenge and feels that  a good artist can be versatile and work in all mediums and never turn down any creative project .
